Potato-Cheese Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 3 Medium, peeled | |
| Skim milk | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup wheat bran flakes cereal, crushed | ||
| Wheat germ | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley flakes | 2 Teaspoon, dried | |
| Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Onion powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine potatoes and wafer to cover in a large saucepan, bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
Drain; reserve potatoes in saucepan.
Add milk, and beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth; stir in cheese.
Cover and chill mixture overnight.
Combine remaining ingredients in a smoll bowl, stirring well.
Shape 1/3 cup potato mixture into a 1-inch pattie, coat with cereal mixture.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Repeat procedure with remaining potato mixture and cereal mixture.
Bake at 25° for 25 minutes.
