Potato Cheese Custard Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup milk
1 jar processed cheese spread with bacon
1 teaspoon minced onion
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon minced parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash pepper
2 cups diced cooked potatoes Bacon, crisp quartcooked and crumbled
Directions
In 2 cup glass measure, mix together milk, cheese spread, and onion.
Cook on high (9) for 4 minutes, or until cheese melts, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile in1/2 quart glass dish combine eggs, parsley, salt, dry mustard and pepper.
Gradually stir hot milk mixture into egg mixture.
Cook on high (9) for 3 minutes, stirring every 1/2 minute until thick.
Stir in potatoes.
Cook on medium (5) for 4 minutes, stir once.
Top with bacon; cook on medium (5) for 2 minutes or until firm.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
