Potato Bake Special Recipe
Potato Bake Special is a God given dish for all potato lovers like me!! The yummy seafood stuffed potato are simply irresistable. I served the Potato Bake Special for my anniversary dinner and my husband loved it!
Ingredients
2 large potatoes
1/4 cup cream cheese
Garlic granules
Salt and pepper
2/3 cup shelled shrimp
Directions
Scrub the potatoes and prick all over with a fork.
Cook in a preheated moderately hot oven (190°C/375°F, Gas Mark 5) for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until cooked.
Place the cream cheese in a bowl and soften with a wooden spoon.
Stir in the garlic granules and salt and pepper to taste.
Add the prawns (shrimp).
Make a crosswise cut in each potato and push in at the base to open.
Spoon the cheese mixture on top of the potatoes.
Serve immediately wrapped in a napkin.
Cooking time: 50 minutes to 1 hour Quick Tip: To make this quicker to prepare, cook extra potatoes (unpeeled) with a main meal and store in the refrigerator.
When required, reheat in a moderately hot oven for 20 minutes and continue as in the recipe.
