Crunchy Potato Tikki Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 2.5 Kilogram | |
| Bread | 500 Gram | |
| Onion | 50 Gram | |
| Green chilli | 1 | |
| Coriander leaves few sprigs. | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Fat to fry 100 gm. | ||
| Coriander leaves | 1 Bunch (100gm) (Chutney) | |
| Onions | 150 Gram (Chutney) | |
| Green chillies | 5 (Chutney) | |
| Lime | 1 (Chutney) | |
| Salt | To Taste (Chutney) | |
Directions
1. Boil potatoes in their jackets till done. Peel and mash well.
2. Soak bread in a little water. Squeeze out moisture.
3. Chop green chillies, coriander leaves and onion finely.
4. Mix together prepared ingredients and salt.
5. Form into balls. Press. Put a small quantity of prepared chutney in the centre.
6. Seal edges. Shape into rounds and shallow fry.
Chutney
1. Wash and drain coriander leaves.
2. Grind together onions, coriander leaves, green chillies and salt. Add lime juice to taste and mix well.
