Cheesy Potato Gnocchi Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 7 Medium, peeled | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Boiling salted water | ||
| 2 cups homemade or canned tomato sauce, heated | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
Cook and drain potatoes.
Mash until smooth.
Put on a floured board and mix with the flour.
Knead dough well.
Roll into finger-thin roll and cut into 2-inch pieces.
Press each piece lightly with fork.
Drop, about 20 at a time, into boiling salted water.
When they come to the surface, remove from water with skimmer and put in serving dish.
Keep water boiling briskly and repeat until all are cooked.
Mix with the hot sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
