Potato Bonda/Potato fritters are my favorite snacks on rainy days. It's easy to make and goes great with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Serve hot with ketchup or hot sauce.

Directions

MAKING
1. In a pan, heat oil and splutter mustard and cumin seeds.
2. Add curry leaves, onion, ginger and green chilies.
3. Add salt and sauté.
4. Add turmeric and cilantro.
5. Add mashed potatoes and cook.
6. Roll small balls of potatoes mixture.
7. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, turmeric and water. Make a thick batter.
8. Roll the potato balls with the batter and deep fry it.

SERVING
9. Serve with ketchup or chutney.
