| Ginger | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1 Large, chopped finely | |
| Cilantro | 1 Tablespoon, chopped finely | |
| Curry leaves | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Green chillies | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Cumin seed | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Mustard seed | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chick pea flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For frying) |

Directions
1. In a pan, heat oil and splutter mustard and cumin seeds.
2. Add curry leaves, onion, ginger and green chilies.
3. Add salt and sauté.
4. Add turmeric and cilantro.
5. Add mashed potatoes and cook.
6. Roll small balls of potatoes mixture.
7. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, turmeric and water. Make a thick batter.
8. Roll the potato balls with the batter and deep fry it.
SERVING
9. Serve with ketchup or chutney.
