 All purpose flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder1 Teaspoon
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Potatoes2 Cup (16 tbs), mashed
 2 tablespoons cream or undiluted evaporated milk
 Egg1 , beaten
 Onion1 Tablespoon, grated
 Melted margarine1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Beat mashed potatoes with cream, egg, and onion.
Combine both mixtures and add melted margarine.
Knead lightly; dough should be soft enough to roll.
If too stiff, add a little milk, 1 teaspoon at a time; if too soft, a little flour, 1 teaspoon at a time.
On lightly floured board roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut into rounds with glass or cookie cutter.
Bake on hot griddle for 5 minutes on each side.
Makes 4 servings.
