Pot Roast Aux Herbes Recipe
Ingredients
| Boneless beef | 4 Pound | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Bon Appetit - 5 teaspoons | ||
| Cracked black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Shortening | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger piece | 1 | |
| Oregano leaves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Marjoram leaves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Whole Allspice - 3 | ||
| MSG - 1/4 teaspoon | ||
| Beef Flavor Base - 2 teaspoons | ||
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Make a mixture of flour, Bon Appetit, pepper and dry maustard and apply it on roast.
MAKING
2.Heat shortening in large skillet or Dutch oven and put the roast in it.
3.Once brown, add ginger, oregano leaves, marjoram leaves, bay leaves, all spice and MSG.
4.Simmer the ingredients for 2 1/2 hours after covering till it turns soft.
SERVING
5.Serve warm
