Pot Roast A La Hungary Recipe

Ingredients
2 pound pot roast, trimmed
Dash of salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup onions, sliced
4 ounces canned tomato sauce
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/4 cup water
Directions
1) Mix the salt, pepper, and flour together and rub it over the pot roast.
2) Heat the oil in a pan. Place meat in oil and cook until brown on all sides, approximately 10 minutes. Place onions in pan and saute until transparent.
3) Add the tomato sauce, paprika, caraway seeds, and water. Cover and simmer over low flame for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until tender.
