Ingredients

 3 to 3 1/2 pound chuck or 2 to 3 inch thick rump roast
 3 potatoes, quartered lengthwise
 6 carrots, sliced into 1 -inch pieces
 Water4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion soup mix package1

Directions

Slice roast in half.
Place potatoes and carrots in bottom of a 5-quart casserole dish.
Place roast on top of vegetables.
Add water.
Sprinkle onion soup mix on top of roast.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 10 MINUTES on HIGH, then 60 MINUTES on '5'.
