2 medium-size onions, chopped
 
1 tablespoon Sausalito Fish Stock
 
2 cloves garlic, minced
 
4 medium-size potatoes, cubed
 
1 32-ounce can tomatoes with juice
 
1 bay leaf
 
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
 
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
 
1/2 teaspoon thyme
 
1 1/2 pounds cod fillets, cut into 2-inch pieces
 
2 cups broccoli florets

Directions

Place the onions and stock in a large, heavy-bottom saucepan.
Cook, stirring often, over medium heat until the onions are translucent and limp, then add the garlic and potatoes.
Continue to cook, stirring often, just until the potatoes begin to stick to the bottom of the pan.
Remove from heat and add the tomatoes and juice, bay leaf, marjoram, parsley, and thyme.
Place over medium heat until it just reaches a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the fish and broccoli.
Cover and simmer an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.
