Ingredients

 
1/2 cup Port wine or fruit juice
 
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar or honey
 
1 smoked ham slice, cut 1 1/2 inches thick

Directions

Combine wine and brown sugar in measuring cup.
Place ham slice on rack in broiler pan.
Broil or grill 4 to 5 inches from heat, basting frequently with wine mixture.
Broil 12 to 15 minutes on each side.
