Port Flavored Red Cabbage Recipe
Ingredients
3 tbsp butter
2 cups red cabbage, minced
1 garlic clove, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 oz port wine
3 tbsp wine vinegar
2 tsp honey
Salt and pepper
Directions
In a heavy bottomed casserole dish, melt butter.
Without browning, cook cabbage, garlic and onion 6 minutes or so, stirring constantly.
Add in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Cover.
Stirring occasionally, continue cooking until cabbage is tender.
