Pork With Bamboo Shoots Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 pound pork, sliced
4 tablespoons oil
2 cups sliced bamboo shoots
1/4 cup water
Marinade:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sherry
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions
Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons oil and when it is hot add the bamboo shoots and saute for 2 minutes.
Remove from the pan.
Mix the ingredients for the marinade and coat the sliced pork with this mixture.
Reheat the pan with the remaining 2 tablespoons oil and saute the pork for about 2 minutes.
Add the shoots and the water and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 1 minute, stirring all the time.
Serve very hot in a shallow dish.
