Pork Sausage Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
2 lb. pork sausages
1 c. chopped pepper
3/4 c. onion
2 1/2 c. celery
2 pkg. dry chicken-noodle soup
4 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. almonds, if desired
Directions
Brown and drain off excess fat from sausages.
Saute pepper, onion and celery.
Set aside 1/2 cup celery for topping.
Combine soup and water.
Add rice and salt; simmer 20 minutes.
Stir all ingredients thoroughly; place in large baking dish.
Place reserved celery on top.
Pour butter over celery.
Add almonds.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
