Pork Ribs And Sauerkraut Recipe
Pork ribs and sauerkraut is a microwaved preparation of pork chops along with sauerkraut, caraway seed and brown suagr. Flavored with onion and garlic powder, the pork ribs and sauerkraut can be served with whole bread or dinner rolls.
Ingredients
2 pounds fresh pork country style ribs
1 can (16 ounces) sauerkraut, undrained
1 cup applesauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon caraway seed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Arrange ribs in oblong baking dish, 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inches, with larger pieces toward sides of dish.
Cover loosely and microwave until meat is no longer pink, 13 to 15 minutes; drain.
Turn and rearrange ribs.
Mix remaining ingredients spoon onto ribs.
Cover loosely and microwave until sauerkraut mixture is hot and ribs are done, 10 to 12 minutes.
