Pork Loin In Red Wine Recipe
Ingredients
| Loin pork | 1 3 Pound | |
| Sage to taste | ||
| Nutmeg to taste | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Parsley | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Red wine | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 c. canned consomme | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Rub pork loin with salt, pepper, sage and nutmeg.
Place roast in small amount of fat in large skillet with crushed garlic; brown on all sides.
Reserve pan drippings.
Place roast in baking dish; add parsley, onion, bay leaf and wine.
Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until tender, turning twice.
Add consomme.
Bake for 20 minutes longer.
Place on platter; stir reserved drippings into wine mixture in roasting pan.
Serve with pork.
