Pork Chops with Rosy Pineapple Rings Recipe

Pork Chops – 6, 1 inch thick
Salt and Pepper to taste
Hot Water – ½ cup
Canned Pineapple Slices – 1 ( 1.4 pound)
Red Cinnamon Candies – ½ cup
Directions
MAKING
1) Using a sharp knife, trim the fat off from the chops and place in a skillet to fry
2) Using a slotted spoon, remove the fat
3) Season the chops with the salt and pepper
4) Fry the chops in the melted fat
5) Add the water, cover with a lid and cook over a low heat for 45 minutes
6) Empty the canned pineapple slices
7) In a saucepan, combine the pineapple slices and cinnamon candies
8) Heat over a low flame till the candies are dissolved
9) Add the pineapple slices and bring to a boil
10) Reduce the heat and bring to a simmer
11) Place in the refrigerator to chill
