Ingredients
6 lean pork chops, about 1 inch thick well trimmed
Flour salt and pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 oranges, sections removed from membranes
1/4 cup raisins
Sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch in 2 tablespoons cold water, mixed until smooth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon allspice
Directions
Dredge pork chops with flour that has been seasoned with salt and pepper.
Brown in hot oil on both sides in a large skillet.
Place in slow cooker with orange sections and raisins.
Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
Stir and heat until sauce boils and is thickened.
Pour over pork and fruit in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Spoon fruit and accumulated cooking liquid over chops when served.
