Pork Chops Paprika Recipe
Ingredients
6 (1/2-inch-thick) lean center loin pork chops
Vegetable cooking spray
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped green onion
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup water
1 (8-ounce) carton plain low-fat yogurt
Directions
Trim excess for from pork chops.
Coat a large skillet with cooking spray.
Place over medium heat until hot.
Add pork chops, and cook until browned on both sides.
Remove pork chops, and drain on paper towels, set aside.
Wipe skillet dry with a paper rowel.
Coat skillet with cooking spray.
Add mushrooms and onion, and saute until tender.
Return pork chops to skillet.
Add paprika, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and water to skillet.
Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 40 minutes or until pork chops are tender.
Transfer chops to a serving platter, and keep warm.
Stir yogurt into mixture in skillet; cook until thoroughly heated.
Serve yogurt sauce over pork chops.
