Pork Chops Mandarin Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 or 5 pork chops flour | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 green pepper, cut in strips | ||
| 4 or 5 slices pineapple, reserve liquid | ||
| Sweet relish | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Pineapple slices | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Apple Juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablespoons soya sauce | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Dip chops in flour and brown in butter.
Place in casserole.
Saute strips of green pepper in chop drippings.
Put one slice of pineapple on top of each chop, fill centre of slice with a dab of relish and place 2 strips of green peppers on top.
Mix pineapple juice, apple juice, cup water, sugar, soya sauce and cornstarch in pan from chops.
Cook until thick and clear.
Pour over chops and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
