Pork Chops In White Wine Recipe

Ingredients
4 lean pork chops, about 1 inch thick
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon bacon drippings
2 teaspoons flour
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 large onion, sliced
Directions
Season chops with salt and pepper.
In medium skillet sear pork chops slowly on both sides in hot bacon fat.
Remove chops from skillet.
Stirring constantly, blend flour into remaining fat in skillet.
When very smooth, return chops to skillet with broth and wine.
Spread sliced onion over chops.
Cover skillet, simmer about 45 minutes.
