Pork Chops in Mustard and Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
| 4 thick pork chops | ||
| Onions | 2 Medium, sliced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| White wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 or 3 t. mustard, (French Dijon) Thyme | ||
| Cornstarch to thicken | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Brown pork chops in butter over high heat.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme, remove to casserole dish.
Brown onions about 2 minutes; add the wine and water to onions until it reaches a boil.
Pour all of this over pork chops in casserole and cover.
Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on thickness of chops.
Remove chops to platter and skim fat off the top of the sauce.
Add the mustard and thicken with cornstarch.
Pour sauce over chops.
Serve with rice or noodles.
