Pork Chops In Cider Recipe
Ingredients
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 4 to 6 pork chops 1/2 inch thick | ||
| Onions | 2 Medium | |
| 2 apples, pared and diced | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Apple cider | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Heat shortening in cooker.
Brown each chop on both sides Add onions, apples, salt, and pepper; pour apple cider over all.
Close cover on cooker and set pressure regulator in place.
When pressure is reached, cook for 15 minutes.
Cool at once under running water.
Serve.
Mashed potatoes and applesauce complete the meal.
