Pork Chops And Lima Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 pork chops, cut 3/4 to 1 in. thick | ||
| Fat | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 1/4 cups cooked lima beans | ||
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 to 2 tablespoons dark molasses | ||
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Brown chops in fat in a skillet.
While chops are browning, turn lima beans into a shallow 2-qt.
casserole or baking dish.
Sieve tomatoes and add to the casserole along with onion, molasses, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Season chops with remaining salt and the pepper.
Arrange chops over lima bean mixture.
Bake at 350°F 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
