Pork Chops And Apple Slices Recipe
Ingredients
4 pork loin chops (about 1 inch thick), well trimmed
2 medium apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 teaspoon butter
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Salt and pepper
Directions
In skillet, brown pork chops quickly; drain well.
Arrange a layer of sliced apples in crock pot, then a layer of pork chops; repeat.
Dot with butter; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Add salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours.
