Ingredients
2 tablespoons salad oil 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1 /2 cup chopped onion
2 cups cooked pork,cut in strips
1 cup chopped celery with leaves
1 cup canned bean sprouts
1 cup chicken bouillon
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/2 cup sauteed or canned mushrooms 1/2 cup blanched, shredded and toasted almonds
Directions
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add green pepper and onion; saute' 3 minutes.
Add pork, and cook 3 minutes.
Add celery, bean sprouts and 1/4 cup chicken bouillon.
Make paste of remaining bouillon and cornstarch.
Add paste to pork mixture and cook, stirring until thickened.
Add soy sauce and mushrooms.
Heat thoroughly, turn out on platter and scatter almonds over top.
