Pork Chop Suey Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| 1 green pepper, cut in slivers | ||
| Celery | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 2 tart apples, chopped | ||
| Chicken broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 c. cooked and diced lean pork | ||
| Soy sauce to taste | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Brown onion and green pepper in about 2 table- spoons fat.
Stir in celery and apples.
Add chicken broth.
Cover; cook for 5 minutes.
Add pork; season with soy sauce and salt.
Mix cornstarch with 2 table- spoons water; stir into pork mixture.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
