Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 
1 pound lean pork, cut into bite size pieces
 
1 medium onion, chopped
 
2 pounds green cabbage, finely shredded
 
3 medium potatoes, peeled, cut into 1 inch cubes
 
1 1/2 cups hot beef bouillon
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
 
1 sprig parsley, chopped

Directions

Heat oil in Dutch oven.
Add meat; brown on all sides about 10 minutes.
Add onion; saute lightly.
Stir in cabbage and potatoes.
Add bouillon; season with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds.
Cover; simmer 50 minutes.
Correct seasonings if necessary.
