Pork Tenderloin With Apple Stuffing Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 medium pork tenderloins, trimmed of fat | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), blanched | |
| Nutmeg | 1/3 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/3 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Green onions | 2 , chopped | |
| Yellow pepper | 1/2 To taste, chopped | |
| 1/4 lb lean ground pork | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
Slice pork tenderloins open lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Place open tenderloins between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Flatten with mallet and set tenderloins aside.
Mix garlic with dry spices in small bowl; set aside.
Heat half of oil in cast iron pan over medium heat. Add onions and yellow pepper; cook 4 minutes over low heat.
Add ground pork and half of dry spice mixture. Mix well and cook 5 minutes over low heat.
