Pork Lo Mein Recipe
This Pork Lo Mein recipe is one of the gems from my family cookbook. If you have plenty of Pork on hand then Pork Lo Mein is the thing to make. It is an effortless Main Dish. Stop looking and just try this yummy Pork Lo Mein recipe and you'll never ask for anything else.
Ingredients
3/4 pound lean ground pork
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup green or sweet red pepper cut into bite size strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
4 ounces thin spaghetti, cooked and drained
2 cups bean sprouts
1/2 cup sliced green onion
Directions
In a large skillet cook pork, mushrooms, carrots, green pepper, and garlic till meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir cornstarch into meat mixture.
Stir in chicken broth, soy sauce, gingerroot, crushed red pepper, and curry powder.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
Stir in cooked spaghetti, bean sprouts, and green onion; heat through.
If desired, garnish with additional sliced green onion.
