Pork Escalopes With Mustard Sauce Recipe

Pork Escalopes With Mustard Sauce is a tasty and irresistible pork preparation! I am pretty fond of this dish not only because its tasty but also because it is one of the first dishes I cooked for my husband after our marriage. Try this Pork Escalopes With Mustard Sauce recipe.

Ingredients

 
1/2 Cup (125 ml) plain yogurt
 
2 tsp (10 ml) Dijon prepared mustard
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) flour
 
1 tsp (5 ml) sugar
 
1 lb (450 g) pork (filet, loin or nut), cut into 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick slices
 
Salt and pepper
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
 
1/2 Cup (125 ml) vegetable stock
 
3 shallots, finely sliced

Directions

–  Preheat oven to 275 °F (130 °C).
–  In a bowl, combine yogurt, mustard, flour and sugar and set aside.
–  Place pork slices between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, pound meat to 1/4 inch (0,5 cm) thickness, then season with salt and pepper.
–  In a skillet, melt butter. Cook pork over medium heat until lightly browned, place on serving dish, and keep warm.
–  Using the same skillet, add vegetable stock, and yogurt mixture and beat with a wire whisk until sauce thickens. Pour sauce over pork escalopes and garnish with finely sliced shallots.
