Pork Cider Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds pork shoulder roast, cut into 1-inch cubes | ||
| Potatoes | 3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, sliced | |
| Carrots | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Coarsely chopped | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Quick-cooking tapioca | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Caraway seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups apple cider or apple juice | ||
Directions
1. In a 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker place meat, potatoes, onions, carrots, apple, and celery. Sprinkle with tapioca, salt, caraway seeds, and pepper. Pour apple cider over all.
2. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
