Pork Chops With Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
| 16 to 18 pork chops, center cut, boned | ||
| Sauerkraut | 6 Pound | |
| Tomato Paste | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Sweet paprika | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Caraway seeds | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 6 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In skillet brown pork chops well.
Put sauerkraut in a casserole.
When chops are brown, drain drippings into sauerkraut.
Add tomato paste, paprika and caraway seeds.
Place chops on top of sauerkraut and add water, salt and pepper.
Cover.
Simmer about 1 hour until chops are very tender.
This casserole may be baked in the oven early in the day, if desired.
Serves 16 to 18.
