Pork Chops With Fennel Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pork chop or thick pork steak | ||
| Garlic | 1/2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Fennel seed | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red wine | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Rub the chop with the garlic, salt, and pepper, and press the fennel seeds into the meat.
Push hard on the meat with another plate so that the seeds stay in place.
Brown on both sides in the oil.
Use medium heat, and do not overcook.
Add a bit of red wine cover the pan, and simmer for a few minutes, or until the meat is tender.
