Pork Chops and Gravy with Rice Recipe Video
Ingredients
Pork chops - 4 medium sized
Brine ( which is made before hand)
Rice - 3 cups
Water - 3 cups
Onion - 1, sautéed
Sour cream - 1 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Cream of mushroom soup - 1 can
Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Spring seasoning salt - a pinch
Cayenne pepper - a pinch
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Prepare the brine before hand with the pork chops.
2) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F°
MAKING
3) Take a large pan and add the pork chops to it.
4) Allow it to fry for at least 5 minutes on each side.
5) Add the 3 cups of rice to the water and cook the rice.
6) For the gravy take a large bowl and add the sautéed onions and all the remaining ingredients.
7) After the rice is cooked place it in a bowl.
8) Then add half the gravy made, to the rice.
9) Then add the fried pork chops and lastly pour the remaining gravy on the pork chops.
10) Bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.
SERVING
11) Top it with some paprika and serve hot.
