Ingredients
4 thick pork chops
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
Dash freshly ground pepper
1 quart peeled and sliced potatoes
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons grated onion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
Directions
Brown pork chops on both sides in butter and season with 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
Place half the potatoes in a buttered 1 1/2 -quart casserole.
Sprinkle with half the flour, onion and celery and half the 1 teaspoon salt.
Top with remaining potatoes, flour, salt, onion and celery.
Pour milk over potatoes.
Arrange pork chops on top of potatoes.
Cover and bake in a 350° F.oven for 30 minutes.
Uncover.
Spread orange marmalade on pork chops.
Continue baking another 30 minutes or until pork chops and potatoes are tender
