Pork Chop Or Ham Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tbsp. unbleached white flour | ||
| Onion | 1 Medium, sliced | |
| 1/4 c. green pepper or parsley, chopped | ||
| 2 tbsp. bacon fat or butter | ||
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 shoulder or loin pork chops, or 1 slice of ham | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 350°.
MAKING
2) Use a 2-qt. baking dish to place 2 c. potatoes.
3) Season the potatoes with half the salt, pepper, flour, onion, green pepper, and bits of butter.
4) Repeat the process with rest of the potatoes.
5) Pour in sufficient milk to see between the top slices.
6) Arrange pork chops or ham on top.
7) Place inside oven and bake for 1-1 1/2 hours.
SERVING
8) Serve the casserole with bread rolls.
