Ingredients
14 ounces pork fillet
5 ounces chicken liver
1 garlic clove
3 onions
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
Dash freshly ground pepper
1 bay leaf (crushed)
Dash thyme
4 orange slices
4 carrots
1/2 cup bouillon and 1/4 cup red wine or 1 1/4 cups bouillon
Chopped parsley
Directions
1. Thaw chicken livers (if you use frozen) and chop. Cut pork in 1/4 inch thick slices.
2. Chop peeled onion and crush garlic. Peel carrots and cut in pieces.
3. Brown meat, onion, and liver separately in butter and then add carrots, seasonings, and orange slices with peel left on.
4. Pour bouillon and red wine on mixture and cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Add liver for last 10 minutes of cooking time. Stir carefully.
