Ingredients

 Onions2 , sliced
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Tomatoes2 1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar2 Teaspoon
 Dash of oregano
 Soft bread crumbs1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Applesauce2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Horseradish1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sauerkraut2 Cup (16 tbs)
 6 large lean pork chops
 Fat1 Tablespoon
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Brown onions lightly in butter.
Add tomatoes, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 tea spoon pepper, and remaining ingredients except last 2.
Pour into large shallow baking dish.
Brown chops on both sides in fat; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Put in baking dish with applesauce and kraut.
Cover with foil and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 1 3/4 hours.
