Pork Roast with Apple and Vegetables Recipe Video
Pork Apple roast is a dish which is flavored with nutmeg and vinegar. This roast is also referred to as meat with fruits. Pork apple roast is often served and prepared for large gatherings as the main dish on the menu.
Ingredients
3-5 lbs Boneless porkloin, whole or sliced
4 large apples, peeled and sliced
1 large sliced onion
2 large sliced carrots
3 peeled and cut potatoes
5 sliced celery stalks
1/4 c white or apple cider vinegar
3 tbsp butter or margarine
6 c water
Nutmeg
Salt and pepper
Directions
Preheatoven at 375 F and preheat a saucepan at medium heat.
Season porkloin with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Then sear both sides in saucepan with melted butter.
It takes 5 minutes to cook each side.
When the pork is brown, transfer pork to a large roasting dish.
Add apples, vinegar and vegetables.
Bake for an hour or until apples, vegetables and meat is cooked.
Serve.
