Pork And Vegetables With Browned Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pork shoulder | 1 2 pound, smoked | |
| 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced | ||
| 1 1/2 inches thick | ||
| 2 10-ounce packages frozen brussels sprouts | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup sliced green onion | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Combine mustard, onion powder, and pepper; rub over pork.
Pour boiling water into wok to reach 1/2 inch below steamer rack.
Place pork on rack; cover wok and steam 1 1/4 hours.
Arrange potatoes on second steamer rack and place over meat; cover and steam 30 minutes.
Add brussels sprouts to potatoes; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cover and steam 25 minutes or till done.
In skillet heat and stir butter and onion till light brown.
Stir in lemon juice; spoon over vegetables.
