Pork And Rice Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 cup 1/4" thick diagonal slices carrots | ||
| 1 tip margarine or butter | ||
| 1/2 cup 1/2" pieces cooked pork | ||
| Uncooked instant rice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tip soy sauce | ||
| 1/4 tsp instant chicken bouillon | ||
| 1/8 tip ground ginger | ||
| Mushrooms | 3 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| 1 green onion (with top), finely chopped | ||
Directions
Place carrots and margarine in 15-oz casserole [24-oz casserole].
Cover with vented plastic wrap and microwave on high (550 watts) until carrots are crisp-tender, 1 to 2 min [2 to 3 min].
Stir in pork, rice, water, soy sauce, bouillon (dry) and ginger.
Cover and microwave 1 min [2 min]; stir.
Cover and microwave until liquid is absorbed, 1 to 2 min longer [2 to 3 min longer].
Stir in mushrooms and onion[s].
Cover and microwave 1 min [2 min].
