Pork And Prawn Ball Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| PORK BALLS | ||
| Pork | 400 Gram, minced | |
| Ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon, finely grated | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Spring onions | 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| PRAWN BALLS | ||
| Raw prawns - 400 g | ||
| Soft white bread - 1 slice | ||
| Egg yolk | 1 | |
| Cornflour | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pork/chicken stock - 6 cups | ||
| Bamboo shoots | 3 Tablespoon, canned (SOUP) | |
| Chinese wine - 1 tbsp | ||
| Spring onions | 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped (SOUP) | |
| Sesame oil | 1/2 Teaspoon (SOUP) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. Combine all the ingredients for the pork balls and form into balls about the size of large marbles
2. In a saucepan, bring the stock to a boil and drop the balls and bamboo shoots, bring to a boil, turn the heat down and simmer for ten minutes
MAKING
3. Shell and devein prawns and chop them up very finely; mix together with all the other ingredients and form balls the same size as the pork balls and cook for another ten minutes
4. Remove them and set aside and prepare the soup
5. Into the stock, add Chinese wine or dry sherry and stir till the soup is clear for say a minute; add sesame oil and add the pork and prawn balls into it

6. Garnish with finely chopped spring onions and serve
