Pork and Celery Stew Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 lbs/750 g pork shoulder - cubed | ||
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 , cut into wedges | |
| Celery head | 1/2 , chopped | |
| 1/2 head fennel - chopped | ||
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Fennel seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 6 Clove (5gm) | |
| White wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cloves | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Yoghurt | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon | 1 | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Take a frying pan and heat some oil in it.
2) Add pork and fry until it turns light brown.
3) Stir the onion in and brown it.
4) Add fennel, garlic, celery and seasonings just as the onion begins to brown.
5) Add white wine to it and cover the pan with a lid.
6) Simmer for 20-25 minutes over medium heat.
7) Add the yogurt and lemon juice to it and stir it in.
8) Heat it once again.
SERVING
9) Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
