Ingredients

 
Preheat oven to 325 °F.
 
1 tablespoon soy grits
 
1/4 cup tomato juice
 
1 cup cooked brown rice
 
1 lb. ground beef
 
1 egg, slight oil and vinegar
 
2 teaspoons grated onion
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/8 teaspoon marjoram
 
1 teaspoon paprika
 
Dash of pepper
 
1 1/2 cup tomato juice
 
1/2 teaspoon honey
 
1/4 cup soy sauce

Directions

Soak soy grits in 1/4 cup tomato juice for 15 minutes.
Combine cooked rice with beef, egg, onion, salt, marjoram, paprika, pepper and soy grit soil and vinegar tomato mixture.
Mix lightly.
Shape mixture into balls about 2 inches in diameter.
Place in shallow baking dish.
Combine 1 1/2 cups tomato juice, honey and soy sauce.
Pour mixture over meatballs and bake about 35 minutes in preheated oven.
