Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup peanuts, walnut or pecan halves, or combination
8 cups popped popcorn
Directions
In 3-quart glass bowl, combine butter, sugar and syrup.
Cook at HIGH 3 minutes; stir.
Add baking soda, stir gently until light and foamy.
Cook 1 1/2 minutes; stir in nuts.
Add popcorn (unpopped kernels removed); stir until well coated.
Cook 1 1/2 minutes.
Spread mixture onto buttered wax paper; let stand at room temperature 1 hour to harden.
Loosen mixture from wax paper; break into pieces.
