Pomfret Curry Masala Recipe
Ingredients
Pompret – 2 to 3
Chilli powder- 2 tablespoon
Turmeric- ¼ tablespoon
Cumin Seeds- ¼ teaspoon
Pepper powder-1 pinch
Curd- ¼ cup
Coconut (scraped)- ¼ cup
Tomato-1
Onion-1
Oil- 2 tablespoon
Curry leaves-1 stem
Water- ¼ cup
Directions
Marinate fish with salt and turmeric. Keep aside.
Blend coconut with chilli powder, Cumin Seeds, pepper and curd.
Heat oil in a pan; fry chopped onion, stir fry for a couple of minutes.
Add tomato and stir for a couple of minutes.
Add fish and coconut mixture to the pan. Add water.
Cook for approx. 3 minutes. Garnish with curry leaves.
Best served with plain rice.
