Pompano Florida Style Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 pompano fillets or boned steaks, 8 ounces each (or sea bass, mullet, red snapper, etc.) | ||
| 1 lemon or lime, sliced | ||
| 1/2 cup lemon or lime juice | ||
| Oranges | 4 Small, sliced | |
| 8 ounces Bermuda onion, sliced | ||
| Dash paprika | ||
Directions
Rinse and dry fillets and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Line center of baking pan with slices of lemon or lime and lay fish on top.
Sprinkle with juice.
Bake at 350° F., basting with the juice, until fish flakes easily when tested, 25-30 minutes, depending on the size of the fillets or steaks.
Arrange overlapping slices of orange and onion on 4 individual serving plates, each holding a cooked fillet.
Dust with paprika.
