Polynesian Sweet Sour Shrimp Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 tablespoons salad oil
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1 can (13 1/2 oz-) pineapple tidbits, undrained
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
1/2 pound shrimp, cooked, or 1 can (7 oz.) shrimp, drained
Directions
Saute onion and pepper in oil until tender.
Add seasonings, pineapple and cornstarch (mixed with water), and simmer, stirring until thickened.
